Yamim Nora'im Ta'am (Trop) Model Tunes

Use the recordings below to learn how to chant the Yamim Nora'im ta'am (trop) model tunes for phrases according to the tradition established in "Chanting the Hebrew Bible" by Joshua Jacobson.

When a word punctuated with a zarKA is not accented on the last syllable, a second zarKA is placed over the first letter of the accented syllable.
When a word punctuated with a seGOL is not accented on the last syllable, a second seGOL is placed over the first letter of the accented syllable.
A seGOL phrase will have at least two words: zarKA followed by seGOL.
A word punctuated with a t'liSHAH‑k'taNAH is always followed by a word punctuated with a kadMA (see #51).
When a word punctuated with a t'liSHAH‑k'taNAH is not accented on the last syllable, a second t'liSHAH‑k'taNAH is placed over the first letter of the accented syllable.
