Found our way to our hotel, Atlas Shalom Hotel. Very nice!
Tel Aviv looks like a city anywhere in the world, but this one is in Israel, so my heart feels it differently ... very special.
The hotel celebrates Erev-Shabbat with complimentary snacks and munchies. Didn't need to go out to dinner after that.
Walked around Tel Aviv as Shabbat arrived.
Walked to the fountain at Dizengoff Square where there are hostage photos and gifts of support surrounding the fountain. Wow! Very powerful!
Continued to walk around Tel Aviv.
Found ice cream at Golda's! I've since learned that this is a well-known franchise in Israel, Australia and New York. Is it named for Golda Meir, Israel's Prime Minister from 1969-1974 or is it a play on the Hebrew word for ice cream "g'lidah"? Who's to know?
