Journal:
Breakfast in the hotel. More amazing food. Learned about shakshuka. Yum!
Helped David with setting up photography app that can sort through photos with face recognition. We are the first two enrollees for the Israel Ride.
Walked along the Tel Aviv beach promenade. Secular Shabbat in Israel at its finest. So many playgrounds for children and families to relax - - swings, rope climbing structures, pull up bars.
Visited Hostage Square at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. So much pain and hope embodied in art creations all around the square. So many displays, pictures of all hostages; small 50' tunnel exhibit to simulate where the hostages were kept; piano; hourglass; stale, moldy pita bread "artwork" display; merch kiosk, where I purchased 5 small yellow ribbons, which I will put on my front bike bag and my seat bag.
Dinner at a nice restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. Yummy lamb kabobs!
In all, walked over 6 miles.
