Lots and lots and lots of hills - I love hills! I love the challenge of getting to the top of each hill. The fun is in finding just the right gear ratio, so I can keep a consistent circular rhythm going with my legs…regular breathing…no lactic acid build-up.

Lunch at Sde Boker and a visit to the beautiful scenery at Ben Gurion's gravesite. Lots of ibexes everywhere!

Kabbalat Shabbat service in hotel conference room. I was invited to lead Kiddush at the end of the service.

Went to one of the Makhtesh lookout platforms after dinner.

Moon was just past one-quarter waxing; no clouds, so moonlight gently lit up parts of the makhtesh. Beautiful!
